About Me

Hey, I'm Lucas. I'm a 19-year-old Florida man. I like birds, birding/bird photography, Fallout/other video games, philately, and collecting stuff. Birds of prey (Acciptriformes) are my favorite types of bird. My favorite animal of all is the Everglade Snail Kite! You can find some more of my favorite stuff here.

• I have a black belt in Taekwondo
• I have broken my bones 4 times, across 3 different bones.
• I got to pet a Green Anaconda at a library.

Hobbies

Birding/Bird Photography

I regularly take walks around my neighborhood, State Parks, beaches, and more to take some photos of awesome birds! I haven't made a life list yet, but here are some of the most notable wild birds I've seen:

• Sandhill Crane (Multiple Sightings)

Gaming

I play a ton of games on my PC using Fedora Linux. My favorite games are mostly singleplayer, but I still enjoy playing COD, Minecraft, or Saints Row with my bro, dad, or friends. My Steam account is here and in the sidebar if you want to check it out. I'm a big fan of the Fallout series, especially the lore, characters, and the world. Fallout 4/New Vegas are my favorite games of all time.

Games I recommend:

• Hypnospace Outlaw - I think many Neocities users would really appreciate this amazing game.
• Saints Row 2 - Fun to play with friends, funny too.
• Fallout (3, 4 and New Vegas) - Amazing world, very immersive. Total 700 hours played.
• Okami - Beautiful game, pretty funny at times. Fun gameplay.

Philately

I'm a topical bird stamp collector, specifically raptors. Currently, I'm attempting to make 3 seperate stamp albumns, one for raptors, one for other birds, and a nautical-themed one with seabirds, boats, lighthouses, and a metric shitton of marlins. I also really enjoy collecting bird FDCs. My maternal grandma really started my love of stamps, with my first ever stamp being a 2005 Canadian Peregrine Falcon minisheet. Jigsaw Puzzles

This is my oldest hobby. I started doing them at a very young age with my uncle, mom, and both of my grandmothers. I usually do 300-1000 pieces depending on company, and I really enjoy doing bird, dragon, and general animal themed puzzles. I also play Pixel Puzzles on Steam and Puzzle Baron on browser.

Coding/Scripting

Coding/Scripting (Python, SQL, CSS, BASH, and HTML) - Coding is a hobby I picked up in preperation for my future career path, but I really enjoy it. It's very fun to code/script, whether it be a python script or project, fedora terminals, or my website. Most of my code is Spaghetti, but I'm learning more as I further my education.

Organizing my stuff - This is theweirdest hobby on this list. I really enjoy organizing my collections (stamps, CDs, etc), as well as my files. I have a very large photo file directory, where each photo is organized into groups via bird species, then date. Bird categories are organized taxonomically, with each file being nested within it's specific species, genus, family, and so forth, I also like to keep all of my mp3s organized.

Some stuff I want to get into:
Exercise - I have a workout plan for oblique, shoulder, back, arms, core, and lats. Those are the areas I want to focus on the most. Also want to achieve my first pull-up soon.
